I love Internet Marketing. I think that it's the best business in the world to be in. Here are some of the reasons I'm so passionate about it - It can be fully automated. It has the potential to reach millions of people worldwide. It is open 24/7 You don't need to have any staff No warehouse or products to stock No business premises - You can run it from the comfort of your own home. No Boss You can work from anywhere in the world- all you need is a computer and an internet connection. Low start up costs. Low running costs No tiring commute to work - All I do is stroll down the passage to my home office and work there - total commute time - 10 seconds. You can resell the same product over and over again. You do the work once and get paid over and over again. If you sell digital information products there are no delivery or production costs. Huge mark-ups -95% and up are common place. Why do you like Internet Marketing? Share your reasons here.
I haven't started yet, I was in the process of reading and I will start my first campaign in few days with Click Bank. Let's see. I really thought about why should I get involved in Internet Marketing. My motive is to do something that allow me to work anywhere in the world. Then I found another reason while reading Fortune Magazine of June. "The Market is Growing" As per a study from Microsoft (when they tried to purchase yahoo) Internet Marketing is a 40 billions dollar industry and it will double by 2011. My only fear is that Internet Marketing will become one day a saturated market. Let see !
There are so many reasons why I love doing this for a living. Freedom is far and beyond the number one reason, I can travel wherever I want and work from the comfort of my hotel room. I'm from Vancouver, and in the last year, I've been to California 3x, Mexico twice, New York, Las Vegas twice, as well as a few other local trips. I just need to get my ass over to Europe!
I work for me and me only, I answer to no one but myself, and I can make my very own hours. Most importantly, though, is that I don't have to deal with whiny people all day like I would at most "ordinary" jobs.
I totally agree! Internet has changed my life! I will most likely NEVER get a 9-5 job again and I thank god for that blessing! We have entered a new age now, the information age We are the new entrepeneurs and millionaires folks It all about the internet from now on
* Wake up when I want (usually late) * Eat, nap, work, or relax, shop, travel, anytime, anywhere * You are in charge of your time << That's the secret right there. If you don't have time now to commit to automating your future income streams, then you never will. The more successful your online business becomes, the less time you need to commit to each stream. Yeh, being in charge of my time, every day, all day, all year. * Not dealing with bad clients (depending on what you do). I use to hunt for huge contracts 10K+ only for media work, and I got them! But ask me how many tier 1's owe me 5 figure checks and you'd be amazed! Since switching my business model I haven't been ripped off a red penny (except the odd prorefunder - bless those pricks too though) * Creative outlet - If you're like me and you are an artist first, business owner second, your campaigns and products and resource material are FUN << Instead of just being a monkey taking tasks 9-5. * Fluctuation, being a hunter. If you don't have the stomach for a bumpy ride - this might not be for you - big risk big reward though! This business requires leadership if for nobody else for yourself. You must adapt to becoming a hunter that goes hungry sometimes, and or is always on the hunt for their next meal. Only difference is you might only have to hunt for 6months to eat for a lifetime. And of course how could I leave this one out - efficient living. You're not caught up in the system of traffic, wasting time, mid-day food fedishes, smoke breaks, coffees, always being late, tired, grumpy, and complaining about something or other that happened at work today. When you don't drive, don't consume, and don't condition yourself to become absorbed by societies monetization traps day to day, you become resistant to them and understand how this world works a little better instead of always playing catch up in life. /ramble. Agreed Completely, and eventually, I think as manufacturing and science progress further in terms of technology and automation, telecommuting will pick up ten fold. I don't have the luxury of only working over the internet though, as I still work a day job, but I will add that having a steady second income has done wonders for my savings and vacation spending!
Another point - It gives people a chance to be successful in life by providing insanely good resources that can be accessed at the touch of your finger tips!
