I guess most of your points were correct but saying that India is a nasty country was a no brainer. Its definitely not a nasty country to live in.

I live here thats y I can say that. 10 years ago, I would have agreed with a lot iof your points. But not now. I would rather live In delhi or mumbai than dream of liiving in AMerica

harmu.com, what does the geographical location of a person have to do with cancer? You talk as if people in India are magically immune to cancer:rolleyes:

FYI, the US is not some kind of a radioactive wasteland where everyone dies of cancer.

    Well said:D

Also I like to bring a another Interesting fact about Hockey(Field Hockey)
DHYAN CHAND was one of the greatest hockey players ever to be born on the earth

In 1936 Berlin Olympics India was pitted against Formidable Germany and India also went on to beat Germany by 8-1

Hitler who was seeing this match appreciated Dhyan Chand for his play and offered him a post of Field Marshal in Germany but Dhyan Chand refused it
Also Dhyan Chand played in such a manner that was even appreciated by Hitler(Germany's Dictator) who appreciated only Germans for their performance

    Also

India Still holds the record for most number of Goals in a International Hockey match

    The record is against USA

    INDIA 24 - 1 USA

This record is still alive and our Dhyan Chand scored 8 goals in this match

no not certainly but the important thing is that the

RECORD for most Goals is still alive and also

It is not easy to get appreciation from Blood hatred Hitler

The appreciation from Hitler for Dhyan Chand shows that how he would have played superbly

I don't agree to most of the points raised by Indian lobby to show India is great. Raising sprawling malls , call centers etc. is not what makes a country great. In terms of economy we should admit that ours is developing economy, though developing at fast rate (10 % this quarter , more than that of china) . We need to sustain it so that we can boost of a developed country in 10 years time .

We should boost of country which has most number of engineering graduates. Most number of technical people . This knowledge is driving us to the road of a developed country.

As a confident and bold nation we do admit of lot of lacunas in our systems which we are trying to get away with .

We are proud of our civilization ( not of malls etc .) . This inculcates a value of tradition, respect to elders, openness to logics etc. The most worrying factor is that we are losing on this account. Let us all try not throw away our values in the garb of attaining modernity.
