    Hello,

I've a one month old website and added some links from my other sites to it so it appeared in google in few days, and of course it was high in the rankings for the keywords.

I got some visitors and the numbers were growing, and four days ago the numbers started to grow from 50 visitors to 120 in one day ! The next day there were only 30 visitors, the following day only 5 and yesterday only 2! and today worse, 0 traffic from Google.

So my question is why i got this sudden increase one day and the next days it seams as if I was almost banned on all the keywords? :(

    Please Advise.

Good Question and I have suffered the same fate. My site used to get all traffic from Google and now not at all unless it is images.google.
Any ideas on why that would be. It also happened in the past week.

Google looks for fresh content and gives it a boost.
When it's not fresh anymore it drops again.
I experienced this on some of my sites.
When I post a new article it will nearly always be on the first pages of Google search although it is a few clicks away from the home page.
To get permanent listings you have to build more back links.

This is why Google is highly unpredictable. Creating a business model solely dependent upon Google Search may lead towards natural death of an identity. I have lot of sites which has high traffic where as older site which use to give me lot of income suddenly disappeared for almost 2 years. Now they are back but not as powerful as early days.

One must need to identify the other sources of traffic to stay top on internet business.

As you can see everybody has the same experience.

Google tries to be fair with all sites, when it indexes a new site, it gives a chance to new site to compete with older and established sites, therefore you can see good ranking for your site in SERP. But you have around 1-2 month to use this chance Google gives you.

During this period you need to do a few things:

    1- update your site regularly.
    2- make onpage optimization
3- get backlinks (directory submission, SB submission and even buy some links)

these are minimum work you need to do, and if you do it properly, you will stay on top.

Check your rankings and see what has changed.
