if u have less itrader, just that u need to believe the words of the other who has more itrader, since he can be more trusted in the transaction.it doesnt mean that you cant enter into any trade...
Give it time and be patient. We all once were where you are now. Do your time, get some more posts. Check the Content Creation section and take on a few paid forum poster jobs. That will get you a few iTraders to get started with... And if you are from some other forum where you have high reps & iTrades & high post count, and if you are using the same username, then put a link in your sig linking to your other forum profile. And provide some links to your portfolio in your sig too.... You gotta sell yourself if you want people to buy from you.
Ditto. This forum is all about reputation, and I am not talking about the green blobs next to usernames (although they do help). When dealing with members, DP members typically tend to look at a user's registration date, post count, iTrader rating number, and reputation points. Registration dates allow people to see how long he/she has been a member here at DP. Basically, if someone registered a week ago and is now trying to offer a service or product for sale, he/she hasn't established a reputation or presence here, and thus being an online transaction, the risk for fraudulent activity is greater than a member with an older registration date. The post count a member has here really establishes their presence here in Digital Point's community. It shows that the member is not just here for transactions (and thus the risk for scam is decreased in thought), and actually contributes to the community rather than is here to buy, sell, and trade - ideally, only scammers register at forums for this purpose. The iTrader rating is the feedback rating system here at Digital Point and lets other people see how many positive and negative feedback ratings and transactions a user has experienced. Negative feedback allows people to be cautious if dealing with a member at all here. And, users compare registration dates with iTrader ratings - if a user just registered the other day, and has say 10 good feedback ratings, then something is fishy - people can see this and take caution before proceeding with a transaction (people will do their homework). Now for the final aspect of Digital Point user reputation is the actual reputation feature that we have. In conjunction with user post count, our reputation system allows people to see if the user made positive contributions within the forum. Users with high reputation have a good reputation. And thus, users with an old registration date, high post count, high positive iTrader ratings, and good reputation are far less likely to be fraudulent users than new users are inactive users here that transact. iTraders can always be forged. You need to look at these key elements before making the decision to transact with users at any forum really.
