These are the reasons why I'm changing to Yahoo Ads, Adbrite, & Project wonderful after 6 months in Adsense. +Google's very low CPM rate, lets face it, in most cases, unless the ads are about a way to make money or lose weight, no one's going to click it. Most should be looking for a higher pay per view/pay per page hit. +Google's ridiculous payout requirements. Yep, a $100 minimum payout. That's very high for a hobbyist, or one starting out. If you're just using it to mess around as a small source of income you may not even see the first payout. +Google banning ad posters. I personally haven't been banned, but in many cases, some viewer (whether you know him or not) may think it's funny to click your ads dozens of times, resulting in a ban. +Google is not fair to the adword buyers. Many times clicks can cost the buyers dollars per click. Most of the time the adword clicker is not interested in the product at all. The ad placer sees only a small portion of the profits. It's a lose-lose-win situation, where google's the only winner. +W9 filing & ads. Google is tax deducted, while some other ad networks are not. I'm not sure on the legal stipulations on this one, but I don't think it necessarily needs to be classified as tax based income if it's through a peer-to-peer partnership.
Hmm. I applied for Yahoo! Publisher Network, but they never got back to me. How long did they take to get back to you ?
yea i think im going to attempt to join the yahoo program as well. adsense banned me a couple months back over B.S. and it hurt my revenue because no other company paid as well as they did. Adbrite/Bidvertiser pay scrap junk compared to adsense.
Yeah many us webmaster using it but i want to know about stats of yahoo publishers . How much they get paid and is it more preferable than adsense too
