    I agree with others in that it's because IE is bundled with windows, but Microsoft is dumb for even trying to compete I think, they should just partner up with Mozilla and bundle FF, or use the FF codebase along with all other browser company's so web designing would be more universal and us web designers wouldn't have to worry about creating multiple style sheets for one site.
