You may be calling it the phone for the decade or at least phone of the year. But I certainly won't agree with you. Here is why. Is 600 bucks enough, no it isn't! Even after paying 600 bucks I WILL still have to pay 36 bucks activation plus 60$ more for 450 minutes of talking so thats a total of 700 bucks just to have a new type of *neat interface*.Even if you buy the 4gb iphone for 500 bucks you will still round up payin' 600 bucks for the phone. Also when I am paying 700 bucks just for phone I would like the best camera on phone. But the apple's cutting edge technology provides only a 2 pix camera. Also the iphone has only EDGE no 3G. The second most thing I didn't like is the size of that phone. Will it fit in my pocket?I certainly won't like to carry a phone in my hand for hours. Is iphone will be able to stand the hype it has created? From my side a big NO NO.
There are a lot of phones available better than iphone at this range offering better features. The only thing noticeable will be the touch screen.
the day we own a $600 phone is the day that Publisher's Clearinghouse shows up at our door with a $10 million check
But when you have to pay the activation fee, the extra minutes, download the iTunes songs and ringtones that you already bought on your PC, it's going to cost a lot to own an iPhone. Jobs is brilliant. Apple stock will probably split again by this time next year.
That is what i want to say..........Also you will stuck with AT&T for 2 years. What if I want some other service provider.I don't want to waste my current subscription.
Just think yourself lucky that you're in a place that can buy the iPhone for $600... It's probably going to be £600 when it comes over here, and only available on a stupidly high tarrif...
People pay $1000 for the N95, when you think about it for $600 you get a phone which is pretty cool and a ipod which can be worth a few hundred alone.
I totally agree with you. I would also like to say that there are advantages and also disadvantages with iPhone. It is just a hype that is created for this new phone.
