I have absolutely had it with Amazon. Not only do they rip off affliates they rip off customers. I ordered multiple items a full week before Christmas. Items that were promised to be delivered by Christmas. And one of the items still has not arrived. Amazon will not respond to any of my emails. They just take your money and screw you over. One of the items I did order - a name brand cable was OEM (Probably not even real) - and not the cheapy... it cost $20 and it arrived with no packaging whatsoever just loose in a USPS mailer. There was a hole in the side of the mailer and the cable was sticking out. I am trying to return all this crap so I can buy it from NewEgg which is actually cheaper. This is pathetic. A company the size of Amazon can not even ship an item that weighs less than a pound, and is listed as in stock and having shipped in less than 3 weeks. Their ship date promises mean nothing. F Amazon
I've ordered over hundreds of items from them, over thousands of dollars spent there, and it's pretty good so far. For items that were damaged during shipping, they mailed me a new copy (book) no-questions-asked. Once, a shipment was very late and it turned out the address was not complete. I emailed them and they told me to wait for another 2 weeks, and then another 2 weeks. It's tough waiting but they just want to be sure that the parcel is actually lost before mailing out another or refund (which they eventually did). 3-4 months later, my parcel arrive and I paid back Amazon the money. So far it's been pretty good experience for me. I spend about $500 monthly on Amazon.
ask amazon for a refund, they are VERY good with them. also what make you think it was Amazons fault and not that the big hole was not caused by temp xmas staff from the people who delivered the article? ... it does happen.
I have no problems with Amazon so far. Spending about $100 monthly on the average with them. You should really ask for a refund. Is your good sold by Amazon or the third parties?
I hope Amazon has taken an action on your problem already, I have not experienced that myself, it is probably a glitch.
I am also interested to see whether Amazon has resolved your problem. Even though there might be one off cases where they goof up on delivery, not responding to the emails is not a good business practice.
It is hard to believe. I too have used Amazon for over a decade and have never had any complaints whatsoever. In fact, I loved using them so much I became a seller myself. Like @Parka mentioned above, they are very good at dealing with complaints without any hassle. I can't imagine Amazon dispatching orders without proper packaging, it's had to believe because they have on of the best and secure packaging in the industry. We would be happy to know how your situation was settled in the end. Good luck.
Then have responded to only 1 of my emails. That email had a noreply address and did not contain a name. So maybe other people's experiences are better. But mine is not. Issue is now in the hands of the credit card company.
You could have called amazon cust support on 1-866-216-1072 Or filled out your phone number on their support page and they would ring you back. Emailing them direct is the worst way to try to contact them, it's not how their support system is set up to work. They respond better and quicker when you fill out their customer support forms on their site, as they request in their help pages. That way your request for help goes direct to the right department and does not get classed as spam.
