Read some of his other posts. I think you'll see his paranoid/delusional side come out a bit more :p

Your newfound obsession with insulting me in every thread I post in was flattering at first, but now you're just getting annoying. ;)

Have you considered making better posts? Perhaps even thinking before you post?

I know, I know, the idea seems wild and crazy, but you might just get used to it.

I just showed the stats that a large amount of people want the Bible over the will of the people when it comes to US law. If you have a problem with the stats, or the conclusion then make a point. Insulting me without backing it up isn't adding anything but clutter.

I leave this thread for 1 hour and it goes this far? Wow, anyways, I believe that a true christian is well-defined in the bible. I don't believe in adding any books, doctrines, or anything that contridicts with the Torah and New testament, both of which are the core of the christian / Messianic truth.

A true Christian perhaps, but that is different from saying that to be a true Christian is right.

Ah, but that set of books was only first canonized at the Council of Trent in the 1500's.

For most of the history of Christianity, there were many more books in the bible.

Plus, of course, even today there are more books in the Catholic Bible than in the Protestant Bible.

It all comes down to which set of books you prefer. It's like an ala carte menu. :p

The books not included were extra information, irrevelant, lacking purpose. Thats why they were not included. The most important books are there.
They did not contridict, nor bring any negative consequences, they merely were not important. You can always research them all up.

Ah, but not every Christian agrees on which books should be left in and which books should be taken out.

For example, the Catholic Bible and the Protestant Bible.

Which is the real Christian Bible?

One that is made up of "little books" that any of them do not conflict with what the Bible really teaches.

That's not entirely true. The 'extra' books in the Catholic Bible are apocryphal, meaning "false, spurious, bad, or heretical."

There are also commonly used Bibles that contain scriptures that have been added to support Trinitarian doctrine.

There are also many paraphrased or adapted Bibles, which preserve neither literal meaning nor the consistency of the original manuscripts.

Also, the majority of Bibles have removed over 7000 occurrences of the Tetragrammaton, also a case of adulterating the text.

So, in short, no human can claim to have the 'right' Christian Bible. We can only make an effort to the adhere as closely, literally and consistently to original manuscripts, trying in earnest to preserve the word of God
