Why I lost my ranking?

    Hi guys, My site ranked well in google but after putting canonical tag and redirect my site to particular domain I lost my ranking. Is this affect my ranking? How can i get back my ranking and how much time it will take?

    That is because there is no permanent in the Search engines.

    Maybe its just temporary, that is google dance. Just keep doing your offpage SEO and concentrate on getting quality backlinks and traffic to keep up your sites Ranking.

    Be careful of building too much links, though. The ideal number of backlinks is up for debate, but in my experience and many others', excessive backlinks do incur a penalty.

    This might be temporary fluctuations. Whenever you set up some redirects you will lose some traffic and rankings which may bounce back soon.

    Canonical issue is biggest thing in google. And Google dont like it.
