Well, you can say what you want but I think you need to accept that technology is moving forward, and like it or not, regular people (not geeks) are beginning to take over Microsofts focus, and I think you are scared because all of a sudden you are not important.

There are some that are happy with that, and others that are not. IF Vista works for you, fine, if not. Not my problem. Make it work for you.

    There I said it.

That's kind of amusing, because part of my frustration is that I have more work (support etc.) wtih vista than before ... and I have more calls and so in some ways I'm "more" important.

Trust me, I have enough critical work that I don't need an OS to feel important.

And if you think an OS designed by lawyers is superior to one designed by geeks, well, you are always welcome to your opinion.

    You're very right sir!

Vista is good looking but in terms of security.... :(

Is almost like those beautiful girls that are dumb as hell!

The only problem of Vista is the user!

You have more work to do with Vista and more support? Isn't that normal... it's new! People don't know how to use it. People don't like changes. It was the same with 98, XP, ... and it will be the same with any future OS.

    I dislike Vista!
It seems to run slower than others,
and seems to crash ALOT more. :(

I don't like the whole "Vista feel and experience". But as far as I can run WinXP I don't hate anyone ;)

The point is not that it's unexpected, it's that it's been forced on me. If I want new hardware it HAS to come with vista. See my previous posts on Micrsoft's abuse of it's defacto monopoly. THAT's my frustration. And the day I started this thread, there was just one more productivity killer that made me angry, so I neeed a place to vent.

On this comment, I was simply countering the rather silly notion that somehow vista was making me feel unimportant and that's why I hated it. It made me laugh and it did it made me feel better for the laugh ... :D
