Well, I did same thing when I started but occasionally I get an idea that inspires me. Or it leads me to another idea of my own.
Whenever I have to buy such a product, I use a separate email if which I've kept for such purposes only. This is the best way to save yourself from getting your mailbox hijacked by their mails.
Speak the truth brother, Guru's are nothing more than glorified marketing agents. Generally each have one successful venture, get out before the bottom falls out and then spend the rest of their time selling crap people don't need.
Theres definitely a fine line between scammers, spammers and what these self-professed internet marketing gurus do to make a living. Their products are just shy of $2k and are not worth the paper they are written on - total scam. The problem is that marketing IS so simple, the biggest barrier is for people to stop buying these junk products teaching them how to do things and ACTUALLY DO SOMETHING!!! No way.. Interact on forums and ask questions? What? I'd rather just get someone to tell me how to do everything, well if you're suckered then thats you're own fault. The most i was conned out of was $197 never again after that, most of what these guys sell is motivation and i'd rather find other ways of motivating myself, like by doing something! The thing that REALLY annoys me is that when you try and get off their list, they pretend that you're off it, or have a page that says 'this takes a long time to take you off our lists - please be patient' then you're STILL getting those damn emails!! I love internet marketing but hate these guys who destroy any confidence people may have to the seedy side of the internet.. If you've ever signed up for a website that sells one thing, then tries to get you to buy something else, the one time offer, but 3 times - many times does it take for them to get the hint that you don't want to buy the MF's product? Even if its free? Just go away, i want to sign up for the website not for your product that i don't care about. Its actually got to the point where i despise these guys more than spammers, at least they are honest about what they are selling!!
