Yeah, he means stuff with less competition from other affiliates.

Pretty much. :) If you're new to Clickbank, gravity is pretty much a measure of the number of affiliates promoting a product. Can't really remember off the top of my head, but I'm pretty sure an affiliate would have to make a recent sale to affect the gravity of a product.

sattzeichen, maybe you can also consider promoting products with higher payouts? :) my logic might be flawed, but I just think of it this way; would you rather spend $20 on PPC and end up making a commission of $30, or spend $20 promoting a higher paying product and make a commission of $80, or even $90? I know I'd prefer the latter. :D

I would prefer to get my first sale :( even if I payed $20 on PPC and payout is $20.01 :D but I'am confident that I did choose now a product which seems to sell better. When the product seller didn't lie I should make a small but consistent amount of money ... I hope... :(

Never send direct to the hoplink. Always create your own landing page. It will increase your conversion rate 2-3x for sure.

I did the same as a starter... lost $50 on those tatto products! these design products are really hard to sell with PPC! you need SUPER targeted traffic to get nice sales. I would promote a different niche.

I think most people get the designs for free.

Just go on Google and type Tattoo Designs - almost all the organic results are FREE tattoo galleries...

    Simple ;)

Quick note for ya - Don't use Google Adwords to advertise your products.

It could cost you thousands of dollars to figure out high CTR words and phrases. You need to write some Articles at eZineArticles.com , and GoArticles.com on a certain subject.

For example, if you wanted to advertise a Fitness product like "Truth about 6 pac abs", then write an Article on "6 Pac Abs" or , "Truth about six pack abs".

*Then go to Blogger, or Wordpress and do a Blog on the program that your trying to Promote.

***Before you publish the Articles, link your Blogs to them, and Visa Versa.

It may take a little bit of time for you to start gettting hits, but once you do....... it's all an uphill Money Ladder from there.

    Good Luck -

most people searching for tattoo designs just want free pictures so you will get lots of hops from interested people but they just dont want to pay. There are lots of free sites out there where they can get designs from.

If I were searching for a design I wouldnt pay because there are just so many free resources.

take it from me, tattoo conversions are hard since there is so much info for free on the web. chopper charges $25+ membership for unlimited and badmouth companies like tattoo johnny for selling just one tattoo for $6-12.

But with Tattoo Johnny and Tattoo Finder you get to view all of the designs for free.

And how many tattoos do you really need at a given time?

    This is some good advice.

Also, remember always to do keyword tracking and testing. Most ppl just simply quit one campaign and move on to the next product without actually finding out why it isn't working but simply blame on the products.

    Hi Satzzeichen

honestly, there aint going to be any easy product to promote, every product requires hard work. And if anyone does show you a product or two without competition and still makes money, you gotta rethink he's intention. Also, it really isn't just the product thing, two affiliates can product the same product but their results won't be the same due to too many different variables, e.g. landing page, ad copy, keywords, campaign structure, etc .

    All the best
