I frequently share my blog post to different social sites (Especially in groups) like Google plus and FB Community groups. I get much visitor from FB but almost none from Google plus. It is like 100:1 FB:G+
Check out the size of the FB Groups vs G+ Communities. If the size is also 100:1, that's likely why you're seeing a traffic difference like that. Also Google+ is newer and isn't as active as Facebook, in general. Those communities are active for some niches, but not nearly as many as Facebook. You might just want to focus all of your time on Facebook, because it sounds like you're getting a better time/reward ratio.
This is strange, for me it is the exact opposite. I find Google+ groups/communities to be much more active than Facebook when it comes to traffic. I think a lot depends on what your blog is about and finding the right community to post your articles in. Also, spelling/grammar mistakes kill conversions in Google+ (maybe because native english speakers prevail more than elsehwere?) by getting you discarded as spam or associated with low quality marketing. If you ask me, this is how you fix it: 1) Find an active community that is about the same niche as your blog; 2) Double check your link description and article (especially the first 3 sentences which are visible in the preview) for spelling/grammar mistakes; 3) Keep your posting frequency low and dedicate posting to your most controversial articles.
