Hello, there are over one month and a half my site http://www.adesivou.com low position is the SERPs, even for your own name!
Search in GOOGLE brazil for adesivou and see with your own eyes. that to me, can only be sandbox.
my site does not even appear among the 500 results for the primary keyword: adesivos de parede
What is your opinion about this?

There defiantly is a sandbox stage for all domains. That stage can last anywhere from a few hrs to even a few months. It really depends on when you start to gain some links to your site. If you can get an authority site to link then your sandbox stage will last hrs if not then its a long process.

Do you have any links pointing to your domain? Do you have unique content on your domain?

If you just started to build backlinks then give it another month to 2 months. Keep linking and you will see it finally leave the sandbox stage.

I think this happened on my site after spamming of keywords with links on the home page.
But it is strange that I left for just one day and then removed

Perhaps the real question is, did you do anything that may have caused this? i.e. outsourced somewhere, link buying...any stuff against Google TOS?

Sandbox is a trust issue, and yes it is real. I went through it many times when G first started it in 2004. In those days, the sandbox lasted 9 months or more and *all* new sites were sandboxed.

If you loaded your site with keywords G knows that only the owner/developer can do that, so there is no question that the quarantine can be immediate. If you build links too quickly you can also be sandboxed but not for long because G knows that it is possible that it is not the owner/developer's doing.

if the site is in sandbox for months together than there is some thing that went wrong and need to check it out with webmaster tools.

Webmaster Tools would not really disclose that kind of information. If your site is in sandbox make sure that you have quality links pointing to your site, and that your site has quality unique content. If you have those things then your site will leave sandbox stage. Also another factor to look into is if your website is hosted on a shared hosting provider because if your site IP is pointing to a service that hosts a ton of spammy sites then most likely that is why your site is still in sandbox.
