Why i am not getting visitors even though it is ranking 3 or 4?

Why my blog not getting one single visitors even though it is ranking in 3 or 4 in search engine? The keyword searches are more than 300000 per month. What must be the problem? I did all kinds of promotion for the keyword.

try marketing your website. install google analytics to see the progress of your site.

Try to upload the site map of your website, may be you can get the solution from there. Or try to change the content of your website beacuse using keyword is not only responsible for PR, your content also plays very important role in high PR.

 

keyword tools just give an idea. your traffic will be boosted in you will hit top two positions, try check traffic through semrush.

 

I have everything installed. I came to know that there is a big difference in searches like "Broad", "Exact" and "Phrase".
I saw that exact searches are very low not more than 100 and broad searches have many searches. I should give more importance for the term "Exact" and "Phrase".

If you create article for a keyword you choose. Choose keyword wisely because when you do research in keyword for writing article you are going to go for "keyword tool" and search for the keyword world wide and local "how many people are going to search for the term "Broad" "Exact" and "Phrase".
If you are getting good traffic for keyword in search term known as "Exact" i.e., 2lakh searches. Then you can create article and do promotion for that keyword.
When your blog comes on top no1 ranking for the keyword for the term "Exact" then you get 2lakh visitors to your blog. This is what I call real Blogging.

 

Try social networking sites..and yahoo answer , articles, blog post . getting veistor..

While position 3-4 should get you some traffic but it would be nothing close to what the number 1 position gets. If you have a page that is proven to convert visitors into buyers / customers then it may be worthwhile putting the extra effort to rank no1.

 

Maybe you are looking at the general numbers for the keyword. take a look at exact match numbers. Also look how you position for variations of the keyword.

 

You are Correct. I did a Big mistake in Broad searches. I should have used Exact match numbers. I did promotion for a month. Lots of time wasted.
