    Hi,
I had around 50 genuine clicks on my site in last one week but not even a single cent has been put into my account. what could be the possible reason??
actually i am running my site on geocities( free site) .. but it has been approved by google for adsense.. can being free be a reason for not crediting any money??

Sound like your site is showing nothing but PSAs.

Are you seeing 50 clicks when you log into your adsense account or are you saying this from your logs?

PSA = public service ads. If there are no paid ads to match your content PSAs are shown, but have no click value.

This is a question best asked of AdSense support.

When you say "your account", do you mean your AdSense portal or your bank account?

Contact Google. Thats the best option.

I hope you arent clicking your own ads. Invalid clicks dont pay anything.

How does one know they are getting valid clicks?

The very fact that someone knows they are getting valid clicks would make them invalid, wouldn't they?

You think you are getting valid clicks, but you have no way of actually knowing that.

50 clicks ..for a week and still no earnings ...Something has to be wrong somewhere.

Initially I asked if he was seeing 50 clicks in his account - that was to make sure that he hasnt placed an incorrect pub-ID.

He can see that he has got 50 clicks. So Google is recording his clicks.

Still he gets no credit from them.

Click and earnings sometimes are not updated simultaneously, but the delay cannot be a week.

Only reason I can think of is Google considers them as Invalid clicks.

I do believe that if google though they had caught 50 invalid clicks in one week for one account (and no valid ones), they'd toss the offending party out of the program. No?

Contact G. Only they can help you.

If everything goes correctly, you *should* be able to get incomes from your 50 clicks, or maybe 45 clicks. But getting none is too weird. Something is very wrong.

Does your AdSense account say how much eCPM you're getting? $0.00 eCPM?

So I go to google help, type in:

    clicks but no earnings
    https://www.google.com/support/adse...h&query=clicks+but+no+earnings&topic=0&type=f

    what are invalid clicks
    https://www.google.com/support/adse...&query=what+are+invalid+clicks&topic=0&type=f
    https://www.google.com/support/adse...&query=what+are+invalid+clicks&topic=0&type=f

    RTFM :)

I am not saying you have gone and clicked on your own ads (am I right?) but is 50 clicks WAY over what you usually get?
NOTE: do not post CPM/Click/other AdSense report figures, that is against the TOS ;) instead just say if it is way over and a yes/no answer to "my44"'s question.

I'm gonna guess that Google is primarily serving you PSAs (public service ads). They pay $0.00. Can you confirm that?
