Hi everyone! One question is bothering me lately! I did set up two blogs, one blogger and other wordpress, I did made some 10 posts in each until know. I also did put links in the sidebar to my web site, there were links to other pages of my site. I waited for some time to see if I will get any links from there, so I did get just one link per post that was the most. Then I decided that it is wrong to keep more links to one domain just to different sites, I did delete those extra links and left two links. But the problem is that I do not get even those two backlinks for each post, no matter that I also used tags as well. I really do not understand where is the problem. Because new pages of those blogs are indexed very fast, all of them are indexed but there are no backlinks no matter that I do have them in sidebar. Could anyone explain me where could be the problem?
Check the cached version of your blogs, to see if you can see your backlink there, if you can, then the backlink is indexed and whatever method your using of telling how many backlinks you have, isn't obviously working. If your using something like backlinkwatch.com, which only uses Yahoo to scrape backlinks, it'll only say you have the backlinks, if they indexed by Yahoo. My advice would be to simply build more backlinks to the blogs, which will strengthen the links back to your site.

I just did as you adviced, so at the moment, for one blog's cache version I have those a lot of links in the sidebar to my domain and for other just one link because that probably was cached in the moment when I was removing those other links from it. You know but then for me arise other question, how often is happening this caching of sites? Because one is cached on 18th September and other on 29th September. From what does it depend? From the latest posts or from something else? My latest posts on both of them was on 1th October.
