I am planning to buy hostable.com hosting.. Is it good hosting just like hostgator? Let me know if there are other catches except $0.99 set up fee. why there are offering for free, is their uptime good and their support. Any one using them and have good feedback?
http://www.webhostingtalk.com/showthread.php?t=1033470&highlight=hostable.com That's good reading for a start. As well, I remember a gentleman on this forum not too long ago who was not able to contact Hostable's Support Dept. when he had a problem. He was trying to set his site up and access the control panel, but they just wouldn't respond. You get what you pay for though. If you think you can get a reliable host for $0.99 for 3 years, give them a try, and let everyone know how it works out. Switching hosts is really simple these days, with really no more involved than transferring your data and changing the nameservers. At the end of the day, you'll only be out a buck, and the trouble of having to transfer your data elsewhere.
And as I mentioned in your other thread, if you don't own the copyright/distribution rights for the MP3 files on your site, you had better give Hostable's Terms of Service a good looking over. They will not allow such material, and your site will be suspended in pretty short order.
