Why Home Page only?

    Hello everyone!

Inoticed that most directories only accept home page and do not allow submission of deep or sub-pages. Why is this so?

So they can allow deeplinking 6 months later and make more $$$ maybe ;)
Just a guess... what do I know...
Someone will be along in no time to correct the error of my ways soon enough :D

Maybe to prevent spamish presell pages off the home page.

i'd say it's just so they can offer it later as a paid feature...i may be wrong but i don't see any other reason (besides spammy subpages) why not to accept them

There are several web directories that accept subpages. By the way, most paid directories accept subpages.
    Websorter.com is one of them.

I need to get on the directory of links bandwagon. Any one script better than the other?

Is that true Snoop? But what do you mean by 6months later? Does that mean you submit first then wait for 6months before you can be allowed to submit deep pages?

Thank you very much for giving me samples of directories that allow deep page submission. I don't want to spam anything, I just think this is a good follow up strategy for the links that host our articles so they can get indexed. This is a legitimate SEM strategy right?

Leading Directory accepts deep links. Featured links can have upto 5 links while the regular links can have 3.

    Good value for money.

Thanks Maldives. Are these for free?

This is a great list smub. Thank you for sharing it to me.

I'm just wondering though -- why is submission of deep or sub-pages most of the time requires some fee?

What do you mean by NOT MUCH RELIABLE Himalayan? I think deep pages are too specific. They discuss one and only one topic about the e-business.

I would like to advertise my directory here like all you guys, but it doesn't accept internal links. So no go.
