Why has PayPal limited my account?

I made it a few days ago and have made around 5-8 perfectly legal transactions, on DP only.

I woke up this morning to a limited account, apparantly they've found 'suspicious' activity and I need to verify my account.

Will they unlimit it if I provide all of the steps in the resolution center?

    They're so unbelievably stupid.

I think you should just sent them the details what they’ve asked from you. Just relax and I think it should be no worries if you did nothing illegal with your account.

But I can't give them all of the details.
    I don't have a credit card.
I can't provide proof of delivery and tracking numbers, because they are digital services.

And apparantly even if I give them all details it will take them a few weeks to unlimit it.

I had an issue with paypal about a year ago or so... same thing... they limited my account. I was selling a tangible product and service and have been in business about six years but they got all crazy when I landed a huge account.

I called them (huge pain in the neck) spent about a half an hour on the phone and got them to take off the limits.

I would consider going that route if I were in your kicks.

If you don't have a credit card, use a debit card with cvv number

Your best option is to ring PayPal and discuss all open avenues available to your account. All limitations have different ways of being solved.

Just send them all the verification documents and then they will derestrict your access, iirc its nothing to invasive they want either.

Sometimes when you do all the steps that they mention in the resolution center they will still refuse to give the account back to you, in that case, just open another account in a new email address.

this person is a scammer. I paid him for SEO work up front for 1 week and then never heard back from him. He pm's me saying I sent him "dirty money". Why would I pay up front for a service with "dirty money"?

    Stay away from this guy

If you were selling stuff on DP then simply write details and post the link to your topic. I had couple of issues like that and that sorted them out.

My PayPal account was frozen a few hours after receiving his payment.
His transaction is the only one PayPal is investigating.
All of my funds are frozen, I can't spend any of my money because of him.

Maybe he hacked a PayPal or stole a credit card to pay me, I dunno. All I know is I lost money and my PayPal account because of him and due to that I will not provide my service for him.

Then He sends me abusive messages.

It's your own fault Brinked, don't break the law and you wont get screwed over.

if your payment is held up, you can issue a $0.01 refund and paypal will release the rest of the funds to you

Don't think that works anymore. And your paypal account will get limited if you do that. Has happened to many people.

By the way for resolving this issue, i don't think you need a CC .
You can fax them your personal identification details like driving license and photo proof ,that would be sufficient and the problem will be resolved as soon as the fax reaches them.

I would phone them. If you can, get a prepaid cc. You can also attach your bank account to paypal as well and confirm it. Just phone them and hae the account up while you're on the phone. Most times they are quite reasonable.

Break the law!? I was hiring you for long term SEO service. Why in the heck would I send you fraudulent funds for this? And why Have I not done this to anyone else?

If my payment is what caused your paypal to get investigated...why not come to me and notify me of this so I can assist you?

You accepted my payment and did NOTHING in return...why not issue me a refund and have your account free from the lock?

You are a scammer and I will let everyone know, goodluck doing business on DP you THIEF
