    Hi,

I recently restarted a new forum and after around a week, I appeared in Google. Now, it seems it has been removed! Anyone have any suggestions to why this could be?

this is the forum in question.

    thanks in advance

    Hello...

I would add sitemap and add to google webmaster tools and see what happens..

If nothing changes in a few weeks... start the forum on a new domain

I agree with malcolm1 and you should try to build some backlinks for the forum as
this may speed up the process.

I don't think you're going to see much success using a free forum hosting service for no registration free advertising forum. Google generally views free advertising forums or free advertising blogs as link farms or spam farms because there is no real content, just a bunch of ads.

It is not indexed by Google: If I type site: + domain then nothing shows up.
I am afraid your site is banned.
Try to find out why it is banned.

    thanks for your replies.

the thing is, I have other forums (with different free web hosting companies) - with the same themed content - which are in Google doing reasonably well. This is my first one with forumotion.

How do i check to see if my forum is blacklisted? .. and if it is, how do i get it un-blacklisted?

I will concentrate on building backlinks & see what happens.

if site:www.yourdomain.com does not return any results your site is banned/backlisted.

Like told before i don't see it indexed so i am afraid it is banned.
You will need to check if you did any blackhat SEO or if you do anything against the rules of Google and solve it.

And if it is banned adding more backlinks will NOT help.

i opened it in September, just to try out forumotion. Then in December, I actually started adding content, recruiting members etc...

I haven't done any real SEO, especially not black-hat.
