Why google showing wrong result during check the website indexing

    Hello,

    why google showing wrong result during check the website indexing, actually I've a website and when I'm going to check its indexing in Google, then it show 2960 result, but as when as I'm going to last page then it appears only 296 result.

    its why, why Google make confusion

    Maybe that is because there are 10 results per page, which makes 296 pages.
