why google show old serach index ?

    Recently i change my site and using wordopress

    now if you see my site

    www.funmaxtv.com

    using

    site:www.funmaxtv.com

    you will see old result ..... why Google not drops old result ....what should i do for this

    if you mean google hasn't updated the listings and cache for your site - it'll do it in it's own time, next time it crawls.

    Have a look at Googles XML sitemap scheme ( http://www.google.com/webmasters/tools/ ), this allows you to tell Google quickly when the URL's to your pages have changed and/or you add new pages.

    You did not say when you changed your page.

    It can take up to SIX MONTHS for Google to reindex a page. You either need to resubmit the page to Google to HOPEFULLY get bumped up on the waiting list OR you just need to wait.

    if you have just recently made the change, then it might take few days for google to update the indexing info. that usually depends on how iftent googlebot visits your site but it will be update over time, no worries

    Google updates your backlink within 3 months after 3 months you will see new backlink for new site.

    Erm Robert, I don't know where you pulled that info from.

    How often google re-indexes your site/backlinks depends upon the sites authority. Higher authority sites will get crawled more often.
