    I have a question related to "Google SERPS" during my research for some keyword, I found few website shows very small title but when i clicked to the link the title was totally different.

    I am not sure, why it shows different for only few websites, rest all titles.

    Please help me to understand this matter.

    google takes a few days to update the titles so if you see one title on search result and something different on the site, then only explanation is that the site title must have been changed since google updated the title in their index.

    1) Sometimes, if you are listed in DMOZ (ODP), the search engines will display snippets of text about your site taken from them instead of your description meta tag. You can force the search engine to ignore the ODP information by including a robots meta tag in your header like this:
    <meta name="robots" content="noodp,noydir" />
    Code (markup):

    The "NOODP" robots meta tag is fully supported by Google, Yahoo!, and MSN.
