Hello, I hear many people asking why there are google ads on youtube. Well it's quite easy, google pays webmasters per click on the ad Since google gets many views, there are more clicks on the ads And youtube is from google, so what does that mean: Advertiser pays google Google should pay youtube (but youtube is from google) So it's just ONE BIG EARNING for google... I hope more members will understand now why there are ads on youtube Greetz
Easy as pie, Now I could understand if Yahoo was displaying ads on Youtube there would be some confusing.
Why share profits, if they can get 100% of payment. I think, people want to promote on YT - so many viewers!! But more profitable is record some moovie and publish on YT with some watermark on it.
Well obviously, google puts ads on youtube for the same reason as everone else - revenue. I don't know who you thought didnt know this - surely its pretty obvious
Google actually loses many from youtube. Even though it is one of the most viewed sites on the internet and they can take a larger cut of ad revenue the huge amount of bandwidth and space the site uses means they lose money. Source: http://www.afterdawn.com/news/archive/14524.cfm.
NO they not ...for sure.I think they make about 300 000 000$ every year from youtube. They wouldn't buy youtube for more than 4 years profit
it is but obvious that google puts ads on youtube for money.. what is so special about it .. I dont think its rocket science For those who do not know google also puts ads on orkut which is google's social networking site and the most popular social networking site after myspace and facebook. Similarly, yahoo puts ads on flickr which is the world's most popular photo sharing site. Its common sense for any webmaster I believe
