Why Google itself has PR8 and not PR10?

    The domain http://www.google.co.in is not http://www.google.com which is not http://www.google.co.uk no matter whether they belong to one company or whether they are internally connected to one search engine or not.
    They are all different domains registered in/for different geographic locations, all of which matter prominantly for PR.

    .co.uk and .cn are not that poplaur thats why it doesn't have 10. Simple!

    It depends on many factor. TLD is one of them. Google.cz has PR0. This page own Google about one year. Before here, in Czech, own this page someone else and there was PR4. Backlinks to this domain is very small number.

    most of all from us we use google.com and some times google.co.in, if google gives pr 10 to google.co.in or google.co.uk, so whats the difference between .com and .co.in

    TLD is definitely not a factor in pageranking algorithm where as back links sure are. Stumbleupon and slashdot sure have countless backlinks to justify their respective positions in PR.

    If TLD was an issue, google wouln't have minded going for google.in instead of google.co.in and so on as and when it was made available.
