Why Google is not indexing my pages?

Hey guys,

I have a little problem. My website has about 20 pages and they all are in sitemap.xml file which is uploaded in my Google Webmaster Tools and it appears that everything is OK.
But, why it has only indexed 4 pages from all those 20 which I need to be indexed?
How do I make Google to index them if there is any trick or something?

Hello, try to build backlinks, it takes time, work on build more and more backlinks, remember build a website carry on months....

 

I don't even think you need backlinks. All you need to do is wait.

 

@jakomo, backlinks to certain pages which are not indexed or to home page?

try to earn some backlinks to your main categories, try to write a couple of articles linking to your internal pages, etc, etc

 

@jakomo, What about pinging pages? Will that help them index or that will be waste of time? -.-

 

Is it a word press site? If its a wp site you have to make sure the settings are on for the search engines to crawl your site.

 

waster of time, try to do normal things, and wait to make money you need time I know sometime we need all now, just two click, but believe me, try to build natural backlinks... there are many websites where you could get ideas, seomoz.org is one of the most reputable SEO websites to get ideas in its blog, another way, is everyday is keep updated your website, Google loves updated websites, and if you keep updated your website Google will come everyday and see if there are new articles, in your new articles try to do internal linking in the body document

Actually it's not WP website, it's just regular business website which doesn't need to be updated. What should I do in this case? It's not even PHP. All pages are in HTML, but I doubt that this affects on Google bot

 

I'd continue to work on other seo stuff... Keep in mind, Google has to index millions of sites everyday.

My suggestion is spend this time more constructively helping your site by building quality links & content. By the way, how long has your site been up?

Go for social bookmarking. I am suggesting to build some links via bookarming in reputed sites.

Build back links for your website pages from different SEO sources. High quality back links from theme based PR sites are more effective.

1 month is considerably very little time. One easy method to have all 20 pages indexed is put links of those 20pages on different high traffic more frequent visited sites, you will get indexed soon. For no-effort indexing, it will take atleast 3 months if you just wish to sit ideal and expect google to index your pages.

 

Can you tell me your website url name then i suggest you.

 

If google has found some of your pages and has indexed them they will likely find the rest if they are interlinked to one another. Google is pretty good at this when compared to others like Bing/MSN. There is also no guarantee that they will all be included though.

 

Try adding back links that will point to your site.
