Why Google Gives them So Big PR?

    Recently I visited a site, it had one post , and that was on google first page, I wondered :O How, I checked the PR it was 1 , so I got the reason, but How google gives them so much PR , without posts

    PR is not decided by the number of posts on the site, it is given based on the number of backlinks the site has.

    And a PR of 1 isn't really hard to get, just a couple of backlinks or even 1 high PR backlink will do.

    Hi vinith I knew a little about that so I just checked the backlinks as well and , it said zero :) , very strange

    May be its fake pr. Have you check it properly. And unique content always show on first page.

    No, it isn't strange at all. The backlinks must have been deleted over time, when the next PR update happens the PR will change according to the backlinks it has gained or lost. In this case, it will drop to 0.

    PR1 isn't that much... he could have bought the PR1 domain and published just one post on it...
