Why Google Gives Only 1000 Results

why google gives only 1000 results if you have results more than 1000 results google only gives results under 1000 900 or 800 why is this so can you tell me

secondly is there any restriction of description of a site that google needs to crawl

BTW if Google decide to show 10,000 SERPs Google servers will become very busy.

 

Ive always been frustrated by the fact that i cant go beyond 1000, ive often went up to the max, sounds sad i know but when ive been looking for things its frustrating to reach a max, its like a cut off of the internet, whats the point in having a cut off, i want to surf further, gimme more.

 

i think 1000 is also too much.

Most people will not search beyond page 3.. there is actually no demand for it to happen beyond 1000..

 

I suppose this is about saving server resources. For simple ordinary searcher/user 1000 results is even more than enough, so it is required for automatic requests, and why should Google allow somebody to use its search index?

 

because 1000 is enough for a set of search results...IMO, a thousand is too many for a search result and its exaggerating to exceed that limit to show more results...also, what's the use of exceeding a thousand search results? what's the point of it anyways?

Why do you need anything more than Page3, 99% get their results within these top 3 pages.

Its very thankful of google to show 97 extra pages so that we can see where our sites are and experiment to move them up.

 

yea, i would like google to index like 10 000 image results, while 1000 web results is more than enough
well basically, if you have ever tried blackhat, more than 1000 results will work magic for this kind of SEO i'm telling you

 

i think 1000 results is more than enough to get what you are looking for

 

nobody will browse for that much result anyway. so what's the point for google to waste their cpu resource for something people might not really want. they just focus on the site that give what the surfers wanted.

 

Why more?
Want to see more results, it is for checking how Google indexed my site, how other sites got indexed, learn a little bit more.
I usually go to page 150 max, but I skip pages.
