    Well Google just had a PR update last October 31st. Normally, PR will update every three months so we will be expecting another PR update this coming January 2010 :D

    google dont update backlinks on a real time basis. it might take couple of months since you added the backlinks to show. if you are using google webmaster tool, then you can find more info on backlinks but a link search on google is slow and dont show all the links. use yahoo site explorer which will give you more links

    sultanofseo is very right, also Google will never show your all backlinks even it has counted it, for checking backlinks always prefer yahoo.

    Google is slow in backlinks. Generally it adds them during the PR update.

    It is not weird. Google has so many sites to care for, so it does need times in updating backlinks. :)

    back link updates not done on a daily basis. PR updates done in every three months...

    It's not updating all the time. I have a bunch of do follow links but google webmaster tools hasn't shown them yet.

    yup in search site we always see less backlinks than we have , i guess google weeds out the low profile sites here.

    Google doesn't update your backlinks in real-time. But by using Google Webmaster tools, you will see under the "Links to site" page the number of links leading to your site.
