Why google don't remove pages in a week?

Submit a specific pages of a blog to be removed in webmaster tools. One page is removed when others pending in over than week.
Place meta noindex tag, remove this pages, google already return the error in stats that this pages not found (404) but don't want to remove them.

 

Try robots.txt. Sometimes it works better with it than the meta robots.
