I have been thinking about this question, and I really wonder why google doesn't allow sharing CTR numbers? After all - wouldn't that benefit them as people would get idea how to get more clicks? Since they aren't sharing, there's two things that I wonder: 1) First they share "heatmaps" and "optimizing tips" to "get more clicks" 2) Then they refuse people telling CTR (which could help people to "optimize" and "get more clicks") I understand that sharing "per click" revenues is not given (since they wanna keep prices secret)... but it doesn't make sense to me that first they try to help people get more clicks (by sharing heatmaps/etc.) but then don't want to help people get more clicks (by not allowing sharing of CTR)? Am I missing something here?
