i created a website last month, and submitted sitemap to google, add url to google, yahoo and bing ,but now when i check how many pages indexed by google and the rank of my keyword, there are some problems.
First, google only indexed my home page and product page, not indexed categories, and when i check the keyword rank, all of them only show me my homepage,so i do not know what's the problem. And anyone can helpe me ?
    Thank you.

it won't happen that fast, make sure there are no issues in your site pages like error or page under construction, Google bots stop on those pages and might not continue indexing your site.

maybe there are something wrong with your site structure.and you should believe that google is good at indexing pages if your site is ok.however, it may take a little more time to get a good ranking.

    Hi,

In my own experiences, sitemap submission would not guarantee for indexing or ranking purpose. Increase direct backlinks using your targeted keywords to the targeted pages would be more effective.

    all the best,

It takes time. Get some good backlinks. That might help speed up the process.

Even my website is around 1.5 months old. And it took around more than 15 days for pages to get indexed by Google. But now I have more than 100 pages indexed. It takes time but it gets indexed.
I read somewhere that its a better idea to link most of your main pages viz. index, category pages to have linked somewhere on web. Try putting in unique content as well. All the best :)

Continue to work on the site and be patient. If you have links then you should have the homepage indexed fairly quickly.

Make sure the site agrees to the webmaster guidelines and that the site is actually useful and complete.

Google usually don't show if they've already indexed inner pages... but better if you build links for your inner pages and treat them like your homepage.

Watch out too if you have duplicate contents and meta titles/desc...

is it not necessary that if google is indexed your page that it show at that time in google search engine. I also faced this situation when google toobar is showing that my blog posts are indexed and it is not showing google search engine. It takes time to show in google so keep patience and do not get frustrated. Just make your web pages more visitor and search engine friendly. Try to add more updated fresh content & you can change the title tag and meta description also to crawl the site.

    All the best

My rule of thumb is to NOT SUBMIT TO SEARCH ENGINES!! If you are promoting your website VIA article marketing, on fourms, blog posts, and social networks there spiders will crawl your site so you will be able to be listed fast.
