Haha you are funny forumrating you should not generalize like that. Speaking of myself, I am 100% not that kind, I like getting my stuffs by myself. It's not fun fun to always get everything from others. And I will very rarely ask for something from others if I know I get get it by myself. I think I don't like to feel dependant on others. And it's not luck, it all depends on the person. Many people say am shy but I think I know when to open my mouth! @ administrator - I think it will be better if you ask for a username change, doesn't look nice an admin with 1 post
hmmnn..i think its just fair...there are some things that only men are capable of doing and have the priviledge to do such things...and vice versa. just my opinion.

Jc, may I ask, what are only men capable of doing that women cannot do? Aside from the obvious, I mean.
Heh, well my humble apologies then Ottodo. I consider myself lucky... to a certain extent. As far as the female population as a whole, though? No, not at all. There are incidents where women may be lucky, but as a general rule I don't consider that to be the case at all.
You guys have a very low opinion of women! I don't know where you hang out but it's really odd. Growing up, going to university, working and now with my family (and still working) I've never met a girl or woman who could be described as a gold digger. Only one went through life spending "daddy's money" and more fool him. My friends who are "stay at home Mums" are doing great "jobs" and their lives revolve around family - not shopping and beauty parlours, although some could afford it. We're normal middle class women in a normal middle class (but not american) city. Two memories come to mind... my first trip to California for a surf competition and the guys couldn't believe I didn't have manicured nails - like they'd survive hours in the sea?! like I didn't have better things to do?! a boat ride in Malaysia where there was a Chuck Norris show on the TV and all the locals were avidly watching. I'd never heard of Chuck Norris and was astounded by the misogynist script - and we wonder why people have a negative attitude towards Western women travellers. If Chuck was right we're all nymphomaniacs set to singlehandedly destroy the local prostitution industry by giving it away to every man in town
That's why you 've never see a gold digger...Come to New York, you will see lot of girl who live in dream everyday. They just don't think.....
I've been to New York (briefly) and Boston (5 weeks) and I'd say the people seemed very normal, hard working. Not "Carrie Bradshaw" at all. One of my colleagues in Boston would leave for work really early, drop her son off at caregivers, leave in the early evening to collect him and work in the evening. And this was in IT. I'd quite fancied a move to the States but if that was the life I'd have then no thanks. I'm better of at home.
Good to see there is another guy on this thread that doesn't completely have his head up his ass. Everyone keeps talking about gold diggers, and yes, there are some women that could be classified as gold diggers. However, I guarantee you that you could find plenty of twenty-something year old guys that are doing the same thing to older women who have lots of money. It's just ignorant to call women "lucky" because of a small minority. I don't know how anyone could still think this after reading the post by ysf1...
Absolutely not true. More men still go after higher paying jobs then women do but the engineering school I went to never recruited males only females. I have seen jobs posted at major corporations where only women were allowed to interviewed (I asked and was turned down with my two degrees to the one degree between the three women that got to interview). Once a female engineer mentioned what she made and it was about 6% less than I did but I was two years older and two 3% raises ahead of her. Women are well represent in Human Resources departments including the role of Compensation Analyst. Within the same job, you would not get away with paying a woman less in any company aware of law suits and PR. In my household, the male makes a lot more but the females spend a lot more.
hi all there is no need to go taliban and USA you can find so many lucky and unlucky women and girls around you just search them.......... and help ............
