why G keeps working on PR ? even PR useless ?

basic G give itself PR10......

and no one was surprised ???!!!

 

that's really strange why everyone say PR is useless... except google oO

 

PR is not useless, but at the same time its not a good indicator how nice a site...

For many traffic is most important factor, so they find no relevance in PR

 

i think google updates it's pr algorithm before updating toolbar and it shows old pageranks after updating.

 

Google says PR is important. He is a factor in determining SERP

 

Just remember below things

There is no connection of PR with Ranking and Traffic.

If pr is increase that doesn't mean ranking and traffic also increase.

since pr shows how much your website is strong and popular..

 

We need PR's for link building and selling.

 

I like PR... google is innovative and I think their PageRank is even more effective than it was before... ..so why is google a 10/10 on PageRank? How are you supposed to rank yourself a 9/10? Wouldn't that imply that you're not working hard enough to meet the needs of your customers/clients? ^_^ 10/10 seems fair

 

google will always work on pr since this is the main factor to decide website strength.

 

PR is a like drug, it can cause much attention from webmaster community

 

I think G always is being s good Search engines for users . As far as pr is concerned pr measurement algo has been changed. few years back pr taking is a kid game for the seo . take 2 and 3 any kind of link and can get 4 page rank.but now google link relevency, link age and outgoing links depends for giving page rank to the websites.

one more thing in my point of view is that content base link building is very good for rankings serp and pr as well.

note: now a days pr is very importent thats why google updating pr algo.

According to google, PR play a role (don't know how much) in ranking for sites. So that is why Google is working on PR.

 

PR is extremely important. But only Google knows the true PR of a website, the toolbar is old PR and is for users only, it's not involved in the true rankings and real PR.
