    You're throwing a tantrum over two extra clicks to view posts and maybe another two to PM the guy and ask for his script. He didn't move it over to the new marketplace, how is that DP's fault? Lighten the fuck up.

    When the new (better) system was available (which it is now).

    Tried again to respond to a thread in the Scripts section but could not find a way to reply to the thread!

    Is it possible for us to be able to respond to the Scripts threads in any way?

    If we are not able to reply to a Scripts thread then why id the Scripts section still listed in the forum?

    It is true that the "Alert System" is a good idea and could have been added to the original forum.
    So that is a good thing.

    BUT there are sooooo many not-good things as well.

    The scripts section on DP was the very best available any where and I would like to know as to why that is now not working and shall soon be deleted!

    Sorry, but what an absolutely RIDICULOUS statement. I'm sure by Shawns own admission he wouldn't argue the fact that the quality of posts within the forum has declined CONSIDERABLY in the last 18-24 months- and the changes implemented are a direct action against such low quality dross being spread across all sections of DigitalPoint. Take a moment to step back, take in what has changed, and give yourself a little time to adjust.

    DP has most certainly changed for the better, and thankfully it seems *most* members realise this. The reality is, nobody is forcing you to be here, so if you really can't stomach the "new" DP, I'm sure you'll be able to find another Webmaster related forum in no time at all.

    Sure I would, and have, but that does not mean that those who have destroyed one of the best sites on the web should not be held to account.

    The "quality of the posts has a tiny bit to do with the global financial situation if could please spend a little time to think about it.




    Just found "scripts" in Marketplace. (new Marketplace?)

    So you do intend to keep listing scripts here in the new and improved DP :)

    as i mentioned before, the new layout is weak, the elements not crafted well, there are lot of functionality which made DP the DP is gone.. a lot of restriction.. no wonder you see in online list only 160 members when 1 year ago it was 2.000
