My site www. zombieworld. org/forums (remove spaces) occupies the first position in google for the keyword zombie forum but on bing im no where to be found? Why? Thanks in Advance for any tips
Why don't you simply submit your website? It just hasn't been crawled yet. By submitting your site it allows Bing to crawl your website and it will get accepted, or rejected. I submitted mine, give it a few days.
it seems to be a different algorithm than Google, I wouldnt worry about it though because Google brings more traffic than Bing anyway
That's the beauty of the different search engines. They all have their own criteria they use to list stuff, with differnent algorithms and methods. That is why generally Google is regarded as the best, because they focus more on relevancy....so in theory the more accurate their search results seem to be regarding the specific keywords you use.
Does anyone have a basic idea on how Bing computes a sites page ranking? I have seen Bing search results that ranked a page with contents that are not relevant to the search keyword... so confusing...
agreed, different search engine means different type of criteria of crawling...just add it to bing first
New websites find it easier to rank in BING/MSN but Google is so hard to rank. In that way, you should be happy to get higher SERPs in Google. This is because Google has the most share in the search engine market.
i think you didnt optimise your site for bing and have you submitted your site map to bing , i recommend to submit your site to bing , so that you can increase your traffic
It's vary on the search engie and every search engien index system is differ, If you have good position in Google so you no need to worry. Google is the No. 1 Search Engine world wide As per my best knowledge.
