Why filesharing affilate programs pay more than image host programs for same views

Why filesharing affilate programs pay much more than image host programs for same number of views? Example upto $40/1000 views with file sharing programs but image hosting sites pay only $2.5 for same number of views.
Is there a catch somewhere?
or are image hosting sites raking in $$$$

 

i think because the revenue they got from users membership, people pays for file hosting accounts to download more faster & easier, but almost none people need to pays for image hosting membership

That's the only point file hosts make big money out of premium sales look at MU, and Oron are willing to settle a legal battle for half a million to get back into business. MU server bills alone ran into millions

 

no, membership revenue is a lot more than just advertising revenue

Filesharing deverve a high pay because image is easier to get visitors!
