Why don't people want their site indexed on DP?

I think the only reason is they try to avoid the idea or content being steal since too many webmaster are looking on the DP thread/post....
Besides that, i cant get other reasons.

 

The only other thing I can think of is maybe their site is a scam or they know/suspect their site has been flagged as a scam.

Even if their site wasn't in the same topic as the forum, they wouldn't ask their site not to be indexed, casue logically it wouldn't matter to them.

 

Personally, i think the majority of DP users are pot heads and suffer from paranoia about their techniques from being stolen. lol

imho, this is the reason:
your dig point post will actually outrank your website (if its new, with few backlinks).
Imagine searching for your keyword, and a silly forum post ranks above your actual website! DOH!!

Established sites, however, have nothing to lose.

 

It might be a good idea to protect your ideas especially on those high paying niche
