Not unless you've done something to get you and your site banned completely. Your hateful rhetoric wouldn't do it, as editors only judge the contents on a site, not the owner of it, :D, it's a non issue.

If that were true, you'd be listed, wouldn't you?

By the way, attempted bribery will get you the same results as actually bribing an editor = banned.

Its not mandatory that they need to list your website while there are thousands of competitors with similar content, its pure luck imo :)

    No I cant.

Just because people repeat rumours, or read threads in forums, dosent make it true.

    The worst possible advice!
Webmasters who offer bribes risk having ALL their sites permanently banned. Don't even try it.
Also, any editor who accepts payment permanently loses their account, so they would be extremely foolish to accept, and if anyone knows of this happening, please report the details (URL, editor name etc) using the Public Abuse form.
Such actions are taken very seriously indeed, so make sure you don't fall into the trap of believing what some troll tells you.

Very true, except where the owner of the site is known to have abused the system by either offering bribes or by spamming* the directory.
Webmasters are warned about this very clearly in the public guidelines, so if they ignore it, they can expect the consequences.

*"Spamming the directory" does not mean submitting a site more than once. It means the same in ODP/DMOZ as it means everywhere: excessive repetitions of the same action.
