I've never had a pagerank for any of my sites, even with quite a few backlinks - so I think I might be missing something. I also used a PR Predictor and it said 0. I checked the PR for www.slapsms.com on www.shoutpagerank.com and it showed 0, but with 328 backlinks. It seems either a PR1 is really hard for me to get, or I'm missing something out. Thanks
There are no content in your website and maybe you have not su much traffic to get Page Rank, moreover you need backlinks from high quality websites.
Hello, Contents made with appropriate keywords will make a lot of difference, and dont forget some of main seo basics. I guess you are aware of them. cheers
Page Rank - Dont know why google updates it for less time, I think it should be done atleast once in a month as there are nos of directories waiting for that and if we people are deciding things on the basis of PR and its not been updated on regular basis then its very bad.
Your first site is only 2 months old and the 2nd one is less than a month old. You need to wait for the next update.
you must be very patient as Google Page Rank is very slow until it accredits you.. no matter how fast and succesful your site is growing, and regardless of the many links in.. yes, I'm not happy with my PR of 3 when everything else for sHaMoZzLe.com is going so well, except Page Rank.. re: alexa ranking under 50,000 in the first 12 months.. many front page keyword searches out of millions.. great adsense ratio.. etc.. etc..
for gettting a pr , you have link from high pr sites. check your backlink that they higher pr from you or not
Google updates PR i think 4 times a year, the next update should be in decemeber I think. I would suggest starting a new website just after a PR update, mainly so you can get all the backlinks you need and traffic to get a really good PR the next update. You just need to be paitent.
My advice:Write articles on any niche topic with your site link in resource box and submit to PR6 article websites.Thats it you will get pagerank automatically. This is how i did in one of my site.
Okay thanks. I basically wanted to make sure I haven't missed anything in terms of META tags or anything. I guess I'll wait it out!
You can easily approximate your PR using SEOmoz.org's Page Strength tool. When my site was young, I used that to predict my page rank. This update, my site has a PR4 from PR0, which tallies with the calculation of Page Strength. Hope this helps.
