Why Don´t People Confirm Their Subscriptions?

    Does anybody else have this problem?
    You put up a good offer, nice squeeze page etc.
    People come along, fill in the boxes and then never confirm their request for your freebies.
    Why?

    Why do they bother filling it in in the first place? It makes no sense to me.

    perhaps they think that they will be asked for a subscription fee in the future. or just pure laziness.
