Why DoFollow-Blog-Linkbuilding Is A Waste Of Time

Excellent website. I have just found a load of DoFollow blogs relevant to my niche and have been able to post relevant comments with a dofollow anchor text link.

I agree that blog commenting shouldn't be relied upon as your only link building source but I do think it can be a valuable part of a larger link building plan.

I noticed something strange in some blogs; for example, one of them:

- the page http://www.site.com/this-specific-page/ is pr2
- the page http://www.site.com/this-specific-page is pr0

but there are both the same thing.

Dofollow commenting can and does work just don't go crazy with it. Also if your SEO sucks then how do you expect your pagerank to boost you in the SE's for your keywords.

Sorry but I disagree - stay away from the posts on those do follow blogs, those are the ones that will tend to lockdown the comments or reinstate nofollow. But whenever you find a dofollow blog comment on it - look for the linklove button.

As for the comment on "Indians" working cheap, I think it's relative - it's cheap to us because our currency is higher, but in relative terms it may not be as cheap when you compare it to Rupees. Also maybe you didn't intend this, but your comment kinda seemed like it has racial undertones - I'm going to give you the benefit of the doubt and assume it doesn't - the Indians I've worked with have done a good job and that only speaks volumes, regardless of the price they charge (although I do feel they should charge more, they're undervaluing the work and the stability of their industry - at least for other countries maybe that's a good thing, considering that we could never get into the market because the competition and price point is really too low to actually be worthwhile).

 

I think some link building is better than no link building.

 

I would suggest everyone who has a blog to make it no-follow and use the commentluv and top commentators plugins

 

I think it's beneficial to get a link on a relevant blog regardless of whether it's no-follow
or do-follow because it will send some targeted traffic.

 

to many dofollow blog commenting links will be lower the links juice sooner or later the SE's arent stupid, its good to have new sites be indexed faster through them but wont do much after that
