Why doesn't my site have the "www." in it...

    It's just
    http://<site>

Even if you type it in like
    www.TheLibertarianForum.com

The www. goes away. Is this bad? Will it hurt me in any sort of rankings? If so, How do I fix it?

i think u have chosen to redirect all ur "www" traffic to the without "www" one

it will not hurt ur search engine rankings in any way.. they are both the same but i would suggest that u stick with the non-www version from now just to maintain uniformity
