i choose the ads i want (banners from one product). i check "Fill space with a solid color" in "Choose what to display if the selected ads are unavailable." ...so why do i see that other ads are being shown also? it's been like that since they came out with the referrals.i stopped using them,because there is no point showing ads that i know won't convert. i thought they fixed it when i saw "Alternate ads or colors",well apparently not.
That happens when your AdsenseBot needs to find relevant content for your site.. if it hasnt but since your saying they are referals.. thats weird
