Why doesnt Google crawl my whole site?

I have been checking when G crawls my site and it has been crawled once at the beginning of January but not the whole site, maybe only a quarter. (it is an established URL but with new layout and new content.

It crawled my site again on the 9th January but only my home page.

Why doesnt G crawl my whole site? MSN has virtually every page crawled regularly and Yahoo hates me for some reason!!

    Thanks

Did you submit a sitemap to the webmasters portion of your account so googlebot knows where every page is?

    2 things

    1) Make sure your URL's and navigation is search engine friendly.
    2) Increase your backlinks including backlinks to your internal pages.

Sitemap has been submitted to Google.

I also have a Site Map on my site with backlinks to every page.

The only thing I can think of is that the site, being .asp and databse driven is causing the problems for Google.

But MSN seems to enjoy it!!

    Any other ideas?

    Please?!

how long has you been waiting? Not uncommon for google to take quite a long time to index.

    YEARS!!!

Well actually the site, although it has been around for a couple of years has been 'neglected' and I have only just, beginning of December, started promoting the site and trying to get SEO on it.

Someone said to me that SEO isnt logical its an art form...........

Nah I just think it is a frustrating game of luck, chance and a lot of hours sat in front a computer screen learning, and trying new things!!

Sorry to say a month isn't that long of a time for SEO. If you want to, post the URL and some members might have some ideas for you/

    Thanks for the tips ServerUnion

I will have a look for isapi_rewriter and see if I can get my head around it.

Page Title............ Well thats something different. I need to speak to the guys who wrote the site. As far as I can see there is a 1 file for all the pages but I will check tomorrow and confirm.

    Thanks again for the tips

G is showing 97 pages...how many do you have? looking in Y! looks like you have 35 links...assuming most of them are recips just taking a look at the page names and a few of the pages. Most of the pages I saw have little PR and tons of links on them...translation, there is not much voting juice there to give them a reason to think your site is important. Try submitting a press release or releases or even writing a few quality articles that people will put up on their article sites where link(s) to your site will be the only one(s). Getting quality links (read: links from sites with good authority and pages with few outbound links on them) are what will get your whole site indexed. But, it didn't look like you had many more than 97 pages to me after glancing at your site briefly.
