Hi all. On searching Google for "richard james socks" the results page has 6 results for the same web-store, using three different duplicate sites? The company has duplicated their site but simply changed a couple of letters within the url soxpop, sockspop, etc. As such three different sites appear on page 1 of google. They have been there for many months, maybe a year. I thought Google might consider this bad behaviour/spamming? It certainly doesn't give very balanced results. http://www.google.co.uk/search?hl=e...H_en-GBGB229GB229&q=richard+james+socks&meta= Any opinions appreciated? Paul
Hi I'm surprised Google doesn't pick it up automatically. What they are doing is considered spamming, correct? I won't report them myself as they are competitors of mine and I would prefer not to interfere with them in that way even if they are doing something shady. Hopefully Google will figure out what they are doing automatically. I do see this multiple sites trick use alot by my competitors. P
sometime they dont have enough employee to monitor anyone copy any site or not. it's also our duty to protect our rights and report those who copied us. they will investigate and take action in it.
duplicating content is somewhat a very irritating issue on the internet...those people who are capable of doing such things are like suicide bombers, they don't care of the risk and consequences they will be having once they execute such strategy...
