Why doesn't Google and yahoo not display my site's title?

    Hello webmasters

    M Rohit Tripathi and I am new in SEO field. I want some suggestions regarding my website. When I search for my website (which is (projistics.com) on Google or yahoo the title comes up as Projistics but we had changed our meta tag since our new description and keywords got cached in Google and yahoo but our title is still comes Projistics ... pls help

    If you have recently changed it, GoogleBot obviously hasn't updated your META information in the SERP's. If that is what you mean, you're a little unclear.

    Hold on... After searching for the name only I see what you are talking about.

    Add this to your web page:
    <meta name="robots" content="noodp" />

    Google likes to use DMOZ/ODP titles... this will cure that.

    as i said before i am new in seo. pls tell me (<meta name="robots" content="noodp" /> ) wht this means?

    it means all robots including googlebot will not crawl your odp listings........

    When you search for your name, Google will pull the title of the DMOZ/ODP listing and it will ignore your title tag.
