Why doesnt DP use search engine friendly URL's ?

A really commendable fact that , though DP doesnt use search engine friendly URLs , it shows up in top 10 for many webmaster related keywords. Though, i will still like to reassert that , having search engine friendly URL's is a great thing, and maybe will prove even better for SEO ?

Never gonna happen, we do-not need any se friendly mods to get good rankings, dp has authority unlike any other site online.

DP forum ranks top for many search querries.

Whenever i search something related to search engines, SEO etc.. i can always see DP ranking on top..

I think somehow you missed a point with DP as DP is arguably in the top fraction of 1% of top sites in the world it hardly needs to worry about the OP issues

 

DP is doing good at SEO already so there it goes against your point itself that Search Engine Friendly actually DO NOT HELP that much unless you activity or Content in it. Case Closed.

DP is at the top. It's got good ranks in most searches on webmastering so why waste time and money adding something which is not needed and is encrypted

 

DP doesn't need to have SEO Friendly URL's since its already in the top 1% for keyword searches and ranks high meaning it has authority over other sites
